This house needed a freshen up throughout. There was extensive mould in some of the bedrooms caused by overflowing guttering. The kitchen also had extensive mould mainly caused by an overflowing external drain but the shower had been leaking through the ceiling.
The first job was to clear and repair the guttering and fix the leaking shower tray. To fix the overflowing drain we had to dig out the old clay pipes and replace them with a plastic pipe.
Several of the rooms had stained and varnished woodwork. To brighten these rooms up all the woodwork was painted white.
As well as painting and decorating throughout we had to replace the rotten decking, the kitchen and bathroom flooring and replace some rotten fascia.
